In October 2014, as part of the Islington Exhibits Festival, Winnicott Wednesdays teamed up with the artists/members at The Creativity Centre, Isledon Road Mental Health Resource Centre, to explore the relationship between service user and practitioner, and discover a meeting place where the two groups converge.
The Creativity Centre was one of the first services designed and led by service users working closely with staff in the Trust. The main focus is on the exploration of art materials and the enjoyment and relaxation it can bring from engaging with different materials such as paint and clay. The Centre hosted an exhibition of multi-media artwork created and curated by the two groups, which reflected the group dynamic and art making processes.

"It was lovely being allowed to share and be welcomed into such a creative space. Being able to relax and be free with the art making was a real treasure. Thank you to everyone for putting it together and for being there to make it happen".
